PHTS: the reason I didn’t transfer to a different college after one semester. Seriously, this year has had a lot of rough patches, but Playwrights has become a second home. This year, we’ve made some incredible friends, some wonderful memories, and some brilliant art. The level of talent I’m surrounded by every day is beyond belief, from students to staff to alumni. I could not be more proud to be a student here.

Listen to her little voice! I seriously think that children are the highest form of humanity. The amount of unconditional love and compassion they have for everyone around them is astonishing.
Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.
A writer for the new york times interviewed a series of people who had survived jumping off the golden gate bridge. Every person she interviewed admitted that about two thirds of the way down, they realized that every seemingly meaningless problem that caused them to jump was fixable.
